Auctioneer Profile Chad Shepard a native of Parkersburg, Iowa. From 1994-1998 Chad served in the United States Army as a Radio Operator. Leaving the Army in 1998 Chad enrolled at Des Moines Area Community College to pursue a degree in Management Information Systems. While attending college he began working as a ring man for Herman Auction Service located in Boone, Iowa. Upon graduating from Des Moines Area Community College, Chad moved to Waterloo, Iowa. In 2003 he attended and graduated from the World Wide College of Auctioneering. Upon completion, Chadderbox Auction Service was born. Chad and his wife Lori own and manage the company. Chad is a member of both the National Auctioneers Association and the Iowa Auctioneers Association. In August of 2005 Chad was named 2nd Runner-up at the Iowa Auctioneers Association Bid Calling Contest held annually at the Iowa State Fair.
